Battletech Locust mini-diorama base

I ordered this 3D printed Locust mech figure from an Etsy seller, and the pose immediately made me think of a nice diorama for the base.  

I had to mount it on a larger than regulation sized base to make room for the hapless 6mm infantry figure about to be stomped (and I had to order the 6mm figure separately), but in the end, I think it turned out very well! 

A bonus for the historically minded: the pose is a reference to the famous bronze from the Han dynasty that shows a horse so swift that it has trampled on a bird in its gallop. I thought the two were a fitting juxtaposition: I have a replica of the bronze statue I bought some years ago. Cat for scale.

 It being a sunny morning, I also brought out the recent completed Clan mechs and Elemental infantry for a nice photo.
